Description
Willseal Color Coreseal SAF-V is a dense, closed-cell foam. It has a factory applied pick-resistant skin on the exposed face, which provides a chemically resistant, puncture resistant and waterproof joint. Due to its strong closed cell structure, it has excellent compression, tension and shear capabilities. It is installed with a lubricating epoxy that facilitates installation and when cured, permanently bonds the Willseal Color Coreseal SAF-V in place.
Willseal Color Coreseal SAF-V consists of 2 construction elements:
- A foundation of monolithic, preformed closed-cell ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer foam
- A factory-applied pick-resistant sealant supplied in sticks in 6-foot lengths.
Willseal Color Coreseal SAF-V is by its design inherently insulating and sound-deadening. Its unique foam profile reduces tension at the bond line and allows for a much longer service life of foam constructed of unbonded laminations. Lightweight construction makes is a desired design choice for wide joint challenges.
